Below are some of the current and past concerns which our office has been working on for the community.

 

Employment Facing today's harsh economic environment, many people have been asking my office for help with employment. We've gathered some upcoming job opportunities and helpful hints and tips and posted them on the Ward 39 Blog, and they can be found using the link button on the left.
Community Clean-Up Day April 24th, 2010 -  communities across Toronto are pitching in to clean up our city. Three groups in our ward helped pitch in to make our City a better place.
Fall 2009 - Come see the latest issue of our bi-annual newsletter. It's full of useful information and updates in and around your community.
September 19th 2009- The councillor welcomes you to come help make Scarborough a cleaner place to live. Bring in your unwanted household items and we'll make sure they're disposed of in a safe, clean manner. Click for more details about what you can bring, or visit the City of Toronto page here.
Improper bicycle safety continues to be a major issue facing our ward, both to cyclists and pedestrians. Click to learn how you can save lives.

 Marijuana Grow Houses Our office has been working tirelessly to crack down upon marijuana grow operations, and as a result, dozens of such locations have been shut down in the past several years. (Coming soon)
